Jessica Nowacki, LPC, NCC, PhD (Lit.)

Have you experienced physical, emotional, or spiritual trauma or abuse; loss; hopelessness, or struggles with life direction and meaning? Are you finding that you feel sad, lonely, misunderstood, isolated, depressed, or anxious? Are you noticing that life feels purposeless or relationships are hard to form and sustain because of past trauma? I am committed to providing a supportive and compassionate space for you to tell your story, help you navigate challenges that have arisen because of it, and become empowered to determine the direction you want the next chapters in your life to take.

I approach therapy from a person-centered perspective, and I collaborate with you to meet your unique needs. With years of experience teaching Literature at the university level and as a therapist, I integrate Cognitive-Behavioral, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems, mindfulness, yoga, and Spiritually-Integrated Psychotherapy. In our work together, I will guide you through identifying the themes in your life that you want to shift and how they got there, editing your life story, and guiding you to find and use the strengths you have gained from your experiences.
